Just what I need another blawg.
i've nothing of wit this morning, as i feel more than slightly gross. gooooo, phlegm head!
If your life were a soundtrack, what would the music be?
1. open your library (iTunes, winamp, media player, Zen, iPod)
2. put it on shuffle
3. press play
4. for every question, type the name of whatever song comes up
5. new question—press the next button
6. don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool (really, don't do it. you'll feel foolish, won't you?)
soundtrack, ahoy!
opening credits – randolph sutton: or anything else i've got
waking up – kate bush: heads we're dancing
first day of school – the kinks: all of my friends
falling in love – belle & sebastian: a summer wasting
breaking up – sleater-kinney: burn, don't freeze
prom/leaving school – prince: little red corvette (is my life a john hughes movie?)
life’s ok – the cramps: sunglasses after dark
mental breakdown – strawberry switchblade: seaside(go away demo)
driving – django reinhardt: crazy rhythm
flashback scene – love & rockets: yin & yang (the flowerpot man)
getting back together – the creatures: thank you
wedding – specimen: beauty of poison (bahahaha!)
birth of a child – delays: no ending
final battle – nick drake: time has told me
death scene – ethel waters: lonesome swallow
funeral song – slowdive: souvlaki space station
end credits – frankie newton: onyx hop
as an aside, i find it interesting that, since my piepod isn't in sync with my itunes, music played from there isn't picked up on my mog. that's kind of a drag, man.
What's your favorite music for a Sunday morning?

simplest question ever, i believe. the beatles: white album, played start to finish.
What would the title of your autobiography be?

as yet, unfinished.
yep. that's what i'd call it. at least that's what i'd call it today. ask me again any other day, and it's liable to be something else. something entirely different.
then again, it might also, quite conceivably, be called unreadable.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why?

quite easily answered, this.
i would take my tiny family and move to japan. it wouldn't really matter where we made our home, as long as it was there. the why? why, because!! i've wanted to since i was a sprout, and thought if i tried hard enough, i'd become japanese. i haven't become japanese yet, and don't see it happening in this lifetime, so hey..next best thing, right?
other massive plus points include the massive amounts of culture, the arts, the cuisine, the films, the countryside! there are no reasons not to go, other than monetary ones. language? not a valid reason, as one can always learn and learn and learn, right?
barring that, we'd move to wales. why? why not? they've brilliant accents, and this way the hubs can wait for the dr. to return. heh.
